GRETNA — A woman is seeking damages stemming from a car accident.
Tawana Deggs filed a suit on March 23 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Myron P. Tamplain and Bellsouth Telecommunications Inc. d/b/a AT&T Louisiana, alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an accident that allegedly took place on May 23, 2017 when the plaintiff allegedly was driving on 18th Street in Jefferson Parish. The defendant allegedly struck the plaintiff's car, which allegedly caused the plaintiff to sustain injuries.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by David H. Hanchey of Dudley DeBosier in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
