NEW ORLEANS — A man claims that he was injured when an escalator allegedly malfunctioned.

Curtis A. Still filed a suit on March 16 in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court against JP Morgan Chase Holdings LLC and National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh Pa., alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place when the he was on an escalator that allegedly jolted, allegedly causing him to fall.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Charles P. Ciaccio of Frank J. D'Amico Jr APLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
