Louisiana State University claims that it is owed more than $1,500

NEW ORLEANS — A university is seeking over $1,500.

The Louisiana State University Board of Supervisors through Louisiana State University filed a lawsuit on March 22 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Peter Jones, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $1,792.45 plus interest, claiming that the defendant failed to pay the balance owed.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Amy D. Richard of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Donald Johnson.
