Delgado Community College claims that former student owes it more than $1,000

GRETNA — A community college is seeking more than $1,000 in sums due.

The Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit on April 9 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Kaleigh N. Alexander, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking $1,483.01 plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 782549.
