GRETNA — A man claims that he was injured in a car accident.
Jose P. Munoz Hernandez filed a suit on April 9 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Jason A. Armit, Southland Truck Leasing LLC and Progressive Paloverde Insurance Company, alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on May 1 when Armit, who allegedly was in front of him, reversed and struck his car without any warning or reason. Southland Truck Leasing LLC allegedly owned the vehicle Armit was operating and Progressive Paloverde Insurance Company allegedly insured it.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Mario D. Zavala Jr. of the Law Office of Miguel A. Elias.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
