GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages after she and her child were injured in a car accident with a school bus.
Doris Coolie, on behalf of her minor child, filed a suit April 10 against Cannon Cochran Management Services Inc., Jefferson Parish School Board, and Arcenia Ellis in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages, claiming that on May 1, 2017, while she was driving her car, the defendant, who was operating a Freightliner school bus for the Jefferson Parish School Board, struck the rear end of the plaintiff's car, resulting in injuries to the plaintiff and her minor child.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Ellen Baggett
