Canal Barge Company Inc. allegedly failed to pay rent and left property in poor condition

NEW ORLEANS — A company claims that its tenant left its property in poor condition.

Ram Automotive Inc. filed a lawsuit on April 9 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Canal Barge Company Inc., alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages because the defendant allegedly failed to pay rent in a timely manner and remove its property from the premises. The plaintiff claims that the defendant left the building in poor condition.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Michael A. Britt in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
