Woman seeks damages following alleged fall in a condo

NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages for an alleged slip and fall in a condo.

Joyce Willard filed a lawsuit April 16 against La Belle Maison Vacation Condominium Association Inc., Wyndham Vacation Ownership Inc. and Federal Insurance Co. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on June 18, 2017 when the plaintiff was at the Wyndham La Belle Maison at 209 Magazine St., Orleans Parish. The plaintiff claims she was caused to slip and fall on the wet ground, which lacked any warning as to the condition.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Ryan Gaudet of Dudley, Debosier Injury Lawyers PLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher Bruno.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-3704.
