GRETNA — An attorney is seeking damages, claiming that he was not paid for his legal services.
John-Michael Lawrence and John-Michael Lawrence LLC filed a suit on May 1 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Harris Builders LLC and Lloyd Harris, alleging an open account and breach of contract.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on Oct. 13, 2015 when he was hired by the defendants to represent them in a lawsuit. The suit claims that the defendants failed to pay him for his services.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Robin Lawrence Saizan.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
