Bank of America is seeking more than $7,000 in damages

GRETNA — Bank of America is seeking more than $7,000 in damages.

Bank of America filed a suit on April 30 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Joann B. Diettel, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $7,775.36, plus interest, claiming that the defendant was negligent in paying off her debt.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
