National Collegiate Student Loan Trust 2007-4 is seeking more than $5,000 in sums due

GRETNA — A student loan trust is seeking more than $5,000 in sums due.

National Collegiate Student Loan Trust 2007-4 filed a suit on May 14 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Demon W. Melancon and James Melancon, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $5,924.43, plus interest, claiming that the defendants have failed to pay off their alleged debt.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
