Man accuses the Fresh Market Inc. of negligence after he allegedly fell while making a delivery

GRETNA — A man claims that he was caused to fall while making a delivery at the Fresh Market.

Milton Johnson filed a suit on May 14 against the Fresh Market Inc. and XYZ Insurance Company in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on July 4 when he allegedly was delivering groceries at the Fresh Market at 755 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie. The suit claims that the the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall while standing on a board that allegedly had been placed there to help him unload his truck.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John W. Redmann of the Law Office of John W. Redmann LLC in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 783765.
