GRETNA — A funding company is seeking more than $1,400 in sums due.
Midland Funding LLC filed a suit on May 18 against Patricia Martin in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $1,489.95, plus interest, claiming that the defendant was negligent in paying off the sums allegedly owed.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
