A woman claims that she slipped and fell at a Walmart

GRETNA — A woman claims that she was caused to slip and fall at a Walmart store.

Leslie Parker filed a suit on May 22 against Walmart Louisiana LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on May 23, 2017 when she claims that she was caused to slip and fall on a substance on the floor.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jack P. Ruli Jr. of Gennusa, Piacun & Ruli in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 784049.
