Woman claims that she suffered allergic reaction at Ramada by Windham Metairie New Orleans Airport

GRETNA — A woman claims that she suffered an allergic reaction in a hotel room.

Emily Whittle filed a suit on May 22 against Ramada Worldwide Inc. d/b/a Ramada by Windham Metairie New Orleans Airport and Raymond L. Peacock in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on Aug. 11 when she allegedly suffered an allergic reaction because the bedding in her hotel room allegedly was infested with an irritating substance.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Zachary R. Chistiansen of the Bowling Law Firm in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 784059.
