Southeastern Louisiana University claims that it is owed more than $2,000

GRETNA — A university is seeking more than $2,000 in sums due.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through Southeastern Louisiana University filed a suit on May 21 against Daishawn Phillips in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $2,030.38, plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay the sums allegedly due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Kaila M. Hutchison of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
