GRETNA — A woman claims that she was rear-ended by a truck.
Eva Makari filed a suit on May 21 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Cable-Lock Foundation Repair Inc., Houston Specialties Insurance Company and Juan C. Arias, alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff allegedly was traveling on Interstate 10 in Metairie when Arias, who allegedly was operating the truck, violently rear-ended her vehicle, which allegedly caused her to sustain injuries. Arias allegedly was working for Cable-Lock Foundation Repair at the time of the incident.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Richard V. Kohnke in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
