Capital One is seeking more than $9,000 in sums due

GRETNA — Capital One claims that it is owed more than $9,000.

Capital One Bank filed a suit on May 21 against Dwayne B. Morris in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the amount of $9,428.95, plus interest, claiming that the defendant was negligent in paying off the balance due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeremy L. Nusloch of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 784012.
