Whitney Bank claims that it is owed more than $25,000

GRETNA — A bank is seeking nearly $25,000 in sums due.

Whitney Bank filed a suit on May 25 against Aeham Hatem Hamad in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $24,995.40, plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Keith M. Frey of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 784194.
