Woman claims that she got infection while getting a manicure and pedicure at Regal Nails

GRETNA — A woman claims that she got an infection while she was at a salon.

Nolanda Taylor filed a suit on May 29 against Regal Nails LLC and Travelers Indemnity Company in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on May 26, 2017 when she was the defendant's customer. The suit claims that the plaintiff got a manicure and pedicure, which allegedly caused her to develop a fungal infection.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John D. Sileo in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen D. Enright Jr.
