Bank of America claims that it is owed nearly $140,000

GRETNA — Bank of America is seeking more than $130,000.

Bank of America filed a suit on May 30 against Ruth Thomas in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages in the amount of $139,913.87, plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Lindsay G. Faulkner of Shapiro & Daigrepont LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 784317.
