NEW ORLEANS — A woman claims that her hotel bed collapsed.
Daphne Battle filed a lawsuit on May 21 against the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Liberty Mutual Insurance and Starwood Capital Group Global in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that allegedly took place on June 11 when she was at the Crowne Plaza Hotel when a bed allegedly collapsed under the plaintiff's weight.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by Terry L. Bonnie in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
