Caliber Home Loans claims borrower owes $248,000 on mortgage note

GRETNA – A home loan company is seeking nearly $250,000 allegedly due on a promissory note secured by a mortgage.

Caliber Home Loans Inc filed a lawsuit June 6 against Christian Randolph Koerner in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking the balance of $248,000 due on the note, plus interest, claiming that the defendant has been negligent in paying the amount due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. It is represented by Rader Jackson of Jackson & McPherson LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee Faulkner Jr.
