GRETNA — Discover Bank is seeking more than $6,000 allegedly owed by Clarence Douglas under an open account.
The bank filed a lawsuit June 11 against Douglas in the 24th Judicial District Court.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of $6,763.93 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. It is represented by Jeffrey Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
