Bank of America claims debtor owes nearly $13,000

GRETNA – Bank of America filed a lawsuit June 11 claiming that a customer owes nearly $13,000 on an open account.

Bank of America filed a lawsuit against Michael Duplechin in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking $12,973.30 plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due on his account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. It is represented by Jeffrey Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott Schlegel.
