GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for a slip and fall in a nail salon.
Jennifer Mayorga filed a lawsuit June 12 against Elizabeth Rose Nails and Spa, XYZ Insurance Co. and Ba Vo in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, Mayorga allegedly slipped and fell on March 29 at the nail salon because of a puddle on the ground.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. She is represented by Anthony D Irpino of Irpino, Avia & Hawkins Law Firm in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen Grefer.
