Capital One lawsuit alleges customer owes more than $33,000 on credit card

NEW ORLEANS – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $33,000 allegedly owed on a consumer credit card.

Capital One filed a lawsuit June 11 against Susan James in Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account with a balance of $33,560.59 plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay the amount due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by Jeremy Nusloch of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper Griffin.
