SoFi Lending says borrower owes nearly $50,000 on loan

GRETNA – SoFi Lending Corp. filed a lawsuit June 19 in an attempt to recover more than $47,000 allegedly due on a loan.

SoFi filed a lawsuit June 19 against Brennan Womack in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages related to an open account with a balance of $47,980.41 and claims that the defendant failed to pay make required payments on the loan.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. It is represented by Jeffrey Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
