GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages after she was allegedly injured in a nail salon accident.
Ibra Williamson filed a lawsuit June 27 against Sentinel Insurance Co. Ltd., doing business as The Hartford Insurance Co., and Chic Nails Studio LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, Williamson was allegedly injured on July 31, 2017 when the chair she was sitting on collapsed and her hand was thrust into a nail dryer.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. She is represented by Edward Womac Jr. of the Law Offices of Edward J. Womac Jr. & Associates in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
