NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages for an incident that took place at a Winn-Dixie.
Sandra Ferro and NIcholas Ferro filed a lawsuit Feb. 20 against Winn-Dixie Montgomery LLC, dba Winn-Dixie, and XYZ Insurance Co. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Aug. 17, 2017 when the plaintiff was a guest at the defendant's property at 5400 Tchoupitoulas St. in New Orleans when the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall on a surface that was left wet.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney John Sileo in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Ellen Hazeur
