University of New Orleans seeks over $1,300 from former student

NEW ORLEANS – A university claims it is owed more than $1,300.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a lawsuit February 20 against St. Clair Joseph Carr in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $1,359.50 plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney Cates IV.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-1605.
