NEW ORLEANS – A man claims that his insurance company breached their contract.
Howard Robinson filed a lawsuit March 16 against Lighthouse Property Insurance Co. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence and breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Feb. 7, 2017 when the plaintiff's home suffered damages from a tornado. The plaintiff sought insurance payouts for the damages suffered, but was denied the coverage.
The defendant is accused of negligence and breach of contract.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Nakisha Ervin-Knott.
