Nunez Community College seeks more than $1,200 from former student

GRETNA – A community college is seeking more than $1,200 in sums due.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Nunez Community College filed a suit May 14 against Brittany Myles in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $902.07 plus 25 percent interest, totaling more than $1,200.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Kaila Hutchison of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle Taylor.
