GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for an alleged slip and fall at a Crescent City Pizza LLC Marco's Pizza location.
Carolyn Byrd filed a lawsuit July 10 against Crescent City Pizza and Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on July 13, 2017 when she allegedly fell on a slippery surface on the ground at Marco's Pizza.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. She is represented by Michael Begoun of Wolfe, Begoun & Pick LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
