GRETNA – A customer claims he was injured when he fell at a Floor and Decor Outlets of America store.
John Matherne filed a lawsuit July 11 against Floor and Decor Outlets of America, Safety National Casualty Corp., Michael Tsai and ABC Insurance Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, Matherne allegedly tripped and fell when his foot got stuck in debris and straps on the ground at a Floor and Decor store loading dock area on July 15, 2017.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. He is represented by Pierre Gaudin of Gaudin and Gaudin in Gretna.
The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee Faulkner Jr.
