New Orleans University seeks payment on $4,017 open account

NEW ORLEANS – New Orleans University claims a former student owes more than $4,000.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors, through the University of New Orleans, filed a lawsuit July 9 against Lindsay Michelle Viner in Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the complaint, Viner's account has a balance of $4,107.00, plus interest, and she has allegedly failed to pay off the amount due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney's fees and other appropriate relief. It is represented by Anthony Winters of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
