Lawsuit claims former student owes Delgado Community College over $1,000

GRETNA – A community college is seeking more than $1,000.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit July 17 against Keshaya L. Williams in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account in the balance of $1,074.05 plus interest, claiming that the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due.

The defendant is accused of open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Anthony Winters of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
