Wells Fargo asks court to allow sale of mortgaged property

GRETNA – Wells Fargo Bank NA is seeking court approval to seize and sell a property to recover more than $138,000 allegedly due on the mortgage.

Wells Fargo Bank filed a lawsuit July 19 against Emilio Herrera and Pauline Lopez Herrera in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the complaint, the defendants were allegedly negligent in paying off the balance due of $138,399.36 plus interest,

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. It is represented by Candace Miers Bowen of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
