GRETNA – A woman claims that she tripped and fell in a clinic.
Sheila Isom filed a suit July 23 against Ochsner Clinic Foundation etc., et. al. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for incident that took place on Jan. 23, 2018 when the plaintiff was in the hospital. The plaintiff went to use the restroom when she was caused to trip over a power cord that had been left in a dangerous position.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by James Minge of James Minge & Associates in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Stephen Enright Jr.
