GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages for an incident that took place when she claims she was caused to trip over a cart.
Gilda Woods filed a suit July 30 against Dillard Department Stores Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on July 28, 2017 when the plaintiff was at the defendant's property located at Lakeside Mall. The suit states that the plaintiff was injured when she tripped over a clothing cart that had been left in the aisle.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Marc Frischertz of Frischertz, Poulliard, Frischertz & Impastato LLC in New Orleans.
