Discovery of heroin cited in civil suit

GRETNA – The state of Louisiana claims that they discovered a man with heroin.

The State of Louisiana filed a suit Aug. 2 against Yam Castellano in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging possession of an illegal substance.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages after discovering that the plaintiff was in possession of more than a kilogram of heroin. The defendant is accused of possession of an illegal substance.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by David Wheeler in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John Molaison Jr.
