Delgado Community College lawsuit seeks payment of more than $2,000

GRETNA – Delgado Community College is seeking more than $2,000 allegedly owed on an open student account.

GRETNA – Delgado Community College is seeking more than $2,000 allegedly owed on an open student account.

The Louisiana Community and Technical College System, through Delgado Community College, filed a lawsuit Aug. 2 against Tyhesha Bass in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, Bass has an open account with a balance of $2,063.16 plus interest and has been negligent in paying the balance due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. It is represented by Scott Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael Mentz.
