Bank of America sues for nearly $100,000 in alleged overdue mortgage payments

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking $95,545 plus interest for alleged overdue mortgage payments, according to court documents.

Bank of America filed a lawsuit on Aug. 17 against Taisha Williams Payne, in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due on executory process. The lawsuit alleges that Payne failed to make payments on her mortgage.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Emily E. Holley of Shapiro & Daigrepont LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
