Woman claims her property was damaged by neighbor's fence construction

NEW ORLEANS – A woman alleges that her property was damaged by her neighbor.

Pamela Carr-Jefferson filed a lawsuit Aug. 13 against Fred Nelson and XYZ Insurance Co. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Aug. 23, 2017 when the plaintiff's property at 908 Wagner St. was damaged by the construction of a wooden fence. The suit states the defendant has failed to remedy the damages made to the plaintiff's property.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Deidre Peterson of the Law Offices of Deidre K. Peterson in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern Reese.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 18-7994.
