GRETNA –An individual is seeking damages for a trip and fall in a casino.
Lajean Joseph filed a complaint on Aug. 31 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Treasure Chest Casino LLC.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on June 6 when the plaintiff was at the defendant's premises at 5050 Williams Blvd. in Kenner and was caused to trip and fall due to an uneven portion of pavement.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Pierre Gaudin of Gaudin and Gaudin in Gretna.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.
