Lawsuit claims borrower is in default on $48,000 mortgage

GRETNA – A mortgage is allegedly overdue by more than $48,000.

Llloyd Seither filed a complaint on Sept. 27 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Lonnie Everage and JML Properties LLC.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance for $48,421.54 plus interest for sums due.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a mortgage.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Arthur Dupre Jr. of Leefe, Gibbs, Sullivan & Dupré in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
