State claims couple owes over $59,000 to mitigation program

GRETNA – The state of Louisiana is seeking damages of over $59,000.

State of Louisiana Division of Administration, Office of Community Development Disaster Recovery Unit filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in the 24th Judicial District Court against William B. Green and Teri C. Green.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the balance of $59,175.81, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the sums owed from the state's mitigation program.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John Walsh of Shows, Cali and Walsh LLP in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 788095.
