Bank of America files lawsuit seeking over $144,000

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking more than $144,000 in sums due.

Bank of America filed a complaint on Oct. 8 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Troy Demon Banks.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a mortgage in the balance of $144.932.75 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to keep up with their regular payments.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Emily Holley of Shapiro & Daigrepoint LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry Sullivan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case No. is 788360.
