Nunez Community College is seeking more than $1,200 from a student

NEW ORLEANS – A community college is seeking more than $1,200 in sums due.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Nunez Community College filed a complaint on Oct. 4 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Marc Hills.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the balance of $1,266.95 plus interest, alleging that the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Amy Richard of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin Giarrusso.

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case No. is 2018-9995.
