University of New Orleans seeks more than $2,100 in sums due

GRETNA – A university is seeking more than $2,100 in sums due.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a complaint on Oct. 16 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Hadeel Abumusa.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due in the balance of $2,117.75 plus interest, alleging that the defendant was negligent in paying off the sums due.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Scott Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy Miller.
